Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has declared the results of Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026. Candidates appearing for the entrance test can now check and download their rank cards by visiting the official website, astu.ac.in.The Assam CEE is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs offered by engineering colleges across the state.The entrance exam was held on June 14, 2026, in offline mode. The test lasted three hours and consisted of 120 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 480 marks. The paper included three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics – with 40 questions in each section. Paper paper was available in English and Assamese. Candidates were awarded four marks for each correct answer, while one mark was deducted for each incorrect answer.Before announcing the result, ASTU had released the provisional answer key on June 14 after 6 pm. Applicants are allowed to raise objections through the response key challenge window until June 16, 2026, at 6 p.m. After examining the objections received, the university prepared the final answer key and declared the results.

What after Assam CEE result?
Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam should register for the counseling process. After registration, they have to complete their preferred colleges and courses. The counseling process will include document verification, followed by seat allotment.Candidates awarded a place must complete the admission process by paying the required admission fee within the set deadline to confirm their place.
