Salman Khan still had a bunch of distribution and production work to do before the period saga could take shape.His next theater project is Maatrubhumi: RIP War, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which will release on August 14, 2026 with Chitrangada Singh. The film was delayed several times before its release.Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently shooting for SVC63, a film directed by Vamshi Padipally Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Starring Nayanthara, her first collaboration with Salman, the film is expected to release on Eid 2027 and the shooting is expected to be completed by August or September 2026.
Salman Khan’s first superhero movie
Salman Khan will also be exploring the superhero genre for the first time, adding more excitement to his line-up.
