The National Eligibility as Entrance Test (NEET) is expected to release the NEET 2026 answer key on the official website, nta.neet.ac.in, soon. Earlier, the answer key was released on 6th May for the exam conducted on 3rd May. Following similar trends, the Re-NEET provisional answer keys can be expected from the end of this week, from June 28, 2026.The retest was held on June 21 at 5,440 test centers across India and 14 test centers abroad. Now, since the test is already held, students are eagerly waiting for the provisional answer key and answer sheet.

Re-NEET 2026 answer key expected soon

However, despite the fact that there have been no official announcements about the Re-NEET Answer Key release dates from NTA, past experiences give some clues about the likely timing of the event.Historically, the authority announces the provisional answer key a couple of days after announcing the exam results. From the past experiences and this year’s exam cycle, it can be assured that the provisional answer key will be released three to four days after the announcement of the results. So, candidates can hope that the Re-NEET UG 2026 answer key will be released by the end of this week.Once released, candidates will be able to access the answer key on the official NEET portal and compare their answers with the officially provided solutions.

Challenge window to follow

The provisional answer key will not be the final version. According to the standard procedure followed by NTA, there will be an opportunity for candidates to raise objections against those answers which they think are wrong.Candidates can raise the objection online within a specified time period. During this period, applicants can submit supporting documents in favor of their claims after making the payment of the prescribed fee for objection.All objections raised will be examined by a team of experts in the matter constituted by NTA. If the objection raised is true, the answer key will be modified accordingly.

Candidates can follow the steps explained here to download Re-NEET UG 2026 answer key:

  • Visit the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Navigate to the “NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key” tab provided on the home page.
  • Login to the system using your application number, date of birth, and other security details.
  • The provisionally released answer key and answer sheet will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the PDF file containing the provisional answer key and save it for future use.
  • Match your answers with those of the tentatively released answers to calculate your estimated score.
  • If necessary, raise objections against the provisionally released answer key through the challenge link dedicated to the answer key.

Candidates are advised to check NEET official portal regularly for updates regarding answer key and objection release window.
