Chidambaram’s Balan: The Boy continues to maintain a solid record at the box office with a huge growth on its eighth day.According to Saknielke, the film earned a net revenue of Rs 1.93 billion in India on the eighth day of its release. The latest figure represents a 96.9% increase from the Day 7 net income of Rs 98 lakh.
Net collections in India cross Rs 13 crore
Day 8’s series draws from 1,427 performances nationwide. With the latest release, Balan: The Boy has earned a net revenue of Rs 1,322 crore in India.The film’s box office revenue in India has reached 15.32 billion rupees. At the end of the first week, India’s net revenue totaled Rs 11.29 crore and then added another Rs 19.3 crore on the second Friday.The film also recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 37.04% on the 8th day. The morning attendance rate reached 14.67%, followed by the afternoon attendance rate of 24.17%. The evening occupancy rate was 34.50%, while the night show had the highest attendance rate at 47%.

Apart from Balan: The Boy, Arya’s Ananthan Kadu also witnessed an increase at the box office on its second day of release.According to Saknielke, the political action thriller netted Rs 9.9 million on its second day of release in India. This figure represents an increase of 52.3% from Rs 6.5 million on the day of premiere.Two days after its release, “Aananthan Kadu” has raked in Rs 164 crore across India.
