Personnel Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the option-cum-preference submission window for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. According to a new notice published on June 22, 2026, candidates can now submit or modify their preferences until June 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM.The commission said that the process and method of submission will remain the same as mentioned in the previous notice published on June 19, 2026.In the latest notice, SSC has informed candidates that the option-cum-preference window, which was earlier scheduled to close on June 23, has been extended by two more days.Candidates who have not yet submitted their preferences or who want to make changes can do so through the official SSC portal before the revised deadline.
Why is option-cum-preference important?
SSC has clearly stated that candidates must submit their option-cum-preference form within the prescribed period.Candidates who fail to submit their preferences will not be considered for any position during the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) or final selection process. The commission also clarified that no additional opportunity will be provided after the deadline.
