Avani Kejriwal, a commerce student from Ranchi, has topped CBSE Class 12 after revaluation results took her scores to a perfect 500 out of 500.After the re-evaluation process, brand Avni increased by 24. When the CBSE Class 12 Results they announced in May, Avni had scored 95.2%. She had already secured full marks in Accounting, Economics and Applied Mathematics. However, he was surprised by his scores in English and Business Studies and decided to ask for a reassessment.Talking about her decision, Avni said that English has always been her favorite subject and strongest area. She told ANI: “Everyone is very happy now. We did not expect 500 marks, but everyone is very happy. I had 19 marks deducted in English, which was not expected. English is my favorite subject and it was my strongest. That is why I asked for the revaluation. There were also 5 marks deducted in Business Studies.“The review process worked in his favor. After the revaluation, his marks were revised upwards, giving him full marks in all five core commerce subjects – Core English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and Applied Mathematics.
