The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination can now check and download the answer key from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.The JELET 2026 exam was conducted on June 13, 2026. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to compare their answers and estimate their likely scores before the declaration of results.

Objection window open until June 26

Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key can raise objections through the online portal. The last date to submit challenges is June 26, 2026, until 11:59 PM.According to WBJEEB, there is no limit to the number of questions that can be challenged. However, all objections must be submitted in a single session through the online system.A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per challenged question must be paid online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or Unified Payments Interface (UPI).The board stated that all objections presented will be examined by subject matter experts. After reviewing the challenges, WBJEEB will publish the final answer key. No query, communication, or appeal regarding the final answer key will be accepted.

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download the answer key:

  • Visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
  • Click on the “JELET 2026 Answer Key” link available on the homepage.
  • Log in with your application number, password or date of birth, and security pin.
  • The answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save the PDF for future reference.
