After assembling the Defenders, another popular character from the Netflix era returns to the series in Daredevil: Rebirth – Elodie Yung as Elektra.Two seasons after the show began its Disney+ journey, Elodie is back for season three of the hit series, armed with her dagger and a cool new costume. The news comes after months of teasing from the actress, who has long hinted at Erica’s return.

Elordi appeared on set wearing a red and black stealth suit, officially joining the cast, which includes Charlie Cox as Matthew Murdock (aka Daredevil), Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.

According to images released by Getty Images, Yung was photographed showing off her character’s signature double-header move. These set photos appear to confirm her return to the role after Netflix’s Marvel series ends. It remains to be seen whether she will play a villain in the new season or rekindle her doomed romance with Daredevil.The new season is expected to see Wilson Bethel return as the deadly assassin Bullseye.
Erica is resurrected again
However, the question remains how Erica will re-enter the story, considering her character seemingly met her own end in The Defenders. Her return comes as the evil organization the Hand is making waves with their epic showdown with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Spider-Man: A New Day. Her return raises questions about whether she might also make her MCU debut in the upcoming Spider-Man movie.Since the fate of the Hand won’t be resolved until the movie’s July release, it’s unclear whether the organization will be included in future episodes of Daredevil: Rebirth.Elodie’s Erica has been resurrected three times. In addition to her, another version of the character played by Jennifer Garner was also resurrected in “Deadpool and Wolverine.” Garner starred opposite Ben Affleck in 2003’s Daredevil and later starred in the independent film Elektra.
