New Delhi: 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made his much-awaited debut for India on Saturday, becoming the youngest cricketer to represent India in international cricket. The left-handed batsman was named in India’s starting XI for the second T20I against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. At the age of 15 years and 99 days, he broke the long-standing record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who made his international debut at the age of 16 years and 205 days. He also overtook Piyush Chawla, who made his Test debut at 17 years and 75 days.
