UPPSC PCS 2026: : Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released UPPSC PCS 2026 notification on 25th June 2026 for recruitment to various Group A and Group B administrative posts in the state government services.Candidates who are looking for posts like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Block Development Officer can apply online through the official portal from 25th June to 27th July 2026.Notification Details: The commission has released the detailed advertisement for the PCS 2026 exam on its official website UPPSC UP NIC IN which contains the recruitment rules and instructions for the candidates.Details of the vacancy: About 500 vacancies have been announced for Group A and Group B posts including Deputy Collector, DSP and BDO.Important data: The notification was released on 25th June 2026, online applications will start on 25th June 2026 and the last date to apply is 27th July 2026.Eligibility and Age Limit: Candidates should be aged between 21 and 40 years for General and EWS categories and up to 45 years for reserved categories as per UP Government rules.Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree is required for most posts while specialized roles such as Sub Registrar and Statistical Officer require law degrees or post-graduate degrees in relevant subjects.Application process and fee: Candidates have to complete One Time Registration in UPPSC UP NIC IN, fill online form, upload documents and pay fee. The application fee is 125 rupees for General and OBC, 65 rupees for SC and ST, and 25 rupees for PwD candidates.Selection process: The recruitment process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview. The preliminary exam is objective type, the main exam is descriptive and the interview assesses personality and communication skills. Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the deadline and regularly check the official website for updates regarding admit card, exam center details and further recruitment stages.The commission will publish the schedule for Main Exam and Interview in due course.
