The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has released the provisional answer key and answer sheet for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download both the papers from the official website.The department has also opened the objection window. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key can raise objections till July 2 through the official portal.The TG TET 2026 exam was conducted from June 16 to June 22 at various centers in Telangana. A total of 1,36,418 candidates registered for the exam. Of them, 32,779 applied for Paper I, 86,305 for Paper II and 17,334 for both documents. The applicant pool also includes 28,149 in-service government teachers.By using the provisional answer key and answer sheet, candidates can estimate their likely scores before the final answer key and results are announced. Under the TG TET marking scheme, candidates get one mark for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

According to the official TG TET June 2026 notification, the results will be declared between July 28 and July 31, 2026. Qualified candidates get a TET Eligibility Certificate valid for life. This certificate is mandatory to apply for teaching posts in Telangana government, local body and aided schools.
