National Testing Agency (NTA) has started evaluating the answer sheets for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, and the results are expected to be declared soon, sources told news agency ANI on Tuesday.The agency received more than 10,000 objections to the provisional response key. Each challenge is carefully examined before the final answer key and the results are announced.The objection window for candidates who wanted to challenge the provisional answer key of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination closed on June 28.Now that the window for raising objections is closed, the final answer key will soon be available. The NEET UG result will then be declared. Although there is no specific date or time set by the organization for the declaration of results, it is likely to be declared shortly after the evaluation process.NTA usually releases the NEET UG result around 30 to 40 days after the exam. Based on this, the result is likely to come in July.Once the NEET UG 2026 result is announced, candidates can check and download their scorecards by visiting the official website at neet.nta.ac.in. On the home page, click on the link “NEET UG Result 2026” and enter your application number, date of birth and security pin. After submitting the data, your scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download it and take a printout for future admission and counseling processes.The NEET UG 2026 re-examination was held on June 21 across India and at 14 centers abroad. The exam was held after an alleged paper leak, which is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The agency has arrested several people in connection with the case.More than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the re-examination at 5,440 centers across India and 14 overseas centres. The test was conducted in 13 languages, including Hindi and English.
