Rajkumar Hirani denies Ranbir Kapoor movie reports
There are reports that Rajkumar Hirani is teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor for a film based on the life of an athlete. Some reports have even suggested that the project has been pushed back to 2027 due to scheduling conflicts and an unfinished script. However, the director has now refuted the rumors.Speaking to News18, Rajkumar Hirani said, “No, I am not doing anything with Ranbir at the moment. But I would love to work with him again. I have indeed read reports about the film we are doing. Many times, I read newspapers to know about the film I am working on and it makes me wonder ki abb yeh kahan se aaya (laughs)!”Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor previously worked together in “Sanju,” a critically acclaimed biopic about actor Sanjay Dutt.
Rajkumar Hirani talks ‘3 Idiots’ sequel and ‘Munabai 3 ‘
Fans of Rajkumar Hirani’s popular series will be happy to know that the sequel to ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Munna Bhai 3’ are indeed in development. However, the filmmakers have made it clear that their release schedule depends entirely on when the script is ready.He said: “We are currently in the writing stage. Both films will be shot, but we have to wait and see when the script is ready.”
