According to latest reports, the actor will not appear in person before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad during the scheduled proceedings. India Today reported that Allu Arjun’s legal representative is expected to attend the hearing on his behalf. Reports further indicate that requests have been submitted seeking permission for actors to participate virtually instead of appearing in person.

Cases related to ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere tragedy

The issue is related to the tragic incident that took place during the special screening of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad in December 2024. The event attracted large crowds, leading to serious security issues outside the theatre. Reports suggest that the court has directed several accused, including the actor, to appear for the ongoing hearing.The incident took place at Sandia Theater in Jikkadpalli where a large number of people gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor during a special screening event. In the ensuing chaos, a woman was killed. Her younger son was also seriously injured and required extensive medical treatment.Following the incident, the actor was detained as part of the investigation and later obtained legal relief through the courts. The matter has since been under judicial review. According to reports, Allu Arjun has been named as the 11th accused in the case. Affected families have reportedly received financial support.
