Recalling the pressure of choosing his next film, Prabhas said: “I couldn’t sleep well for two or three years after ‘Baahubali’.” The sense of responsibility of various departments suddenly increased a thousand times. Those were the most stressful years of my life after Baahubali. ” He explained that the team explored several ideas before completing the next project. “We wanted to know what would happen next. Should it be another big visual film like Baahubali or something completely different? We discussed script-driven stories, love stories, and even Prashant Neel and Nag Ashwin,” he revealed.

‘Baahubali’ opens doors for bigger movies and bigger budgets

Prabhas also credited Baahubali with changing the financial landscape of his career. He pointed out that Saaho earned about 260 million rupees in northern India on the day it opened, which he attributed to the goodwill created by “Baahubali”. The actor said the blockbuster made big-budget films like “Saaho”, “Radhe Shyam”, “Salaar” and “Kalki 2898 AD” possible. He explained that before Baahubali, most of his films were made with budgets between Rs 20-400 million.
