Ram Charan also shared a personal moment of lightness involving his daughter Klin Kaara.He said, “Everyone from children to elderly people came to watch the film. They called me Peddy instead of Ram Charan, which made this success even more special. My daughter Kling Kala used to call me Nanna, but after Peddy, she started calling me ‘Hey Peddy’. I told her that she can’t call her father that, and then she started saying ‘Peddy Nanna’.”Ram Charan also took time to thank director Buchi Babu Sana and music composer AR Rahman for their contributions. He credited Buchi Babu for shaping the project and helping bring the story to life.He said, “I should thank Sukumar Garu for introducing me to Buchi Babu. He was like a lecturer who guided many students and he also treated me as his student and gave me valuable guidance.”Appreciating AR Rahman’s contribution, he said, “He played beautiful music, especially in the second half. His music brought great energy to the film and helped bring the audience closer. Hats off to Rahman Garu. Peddi means a lot to us and we love you wherever you are. The dedication and work you have shown is truly amazing.”

Ram Charan also spoke about how audience support shaped the film’s success. He said: “I remember a dialogue in a Rabindranath Tagore movie. It is not easy for Telugu people to like someone, but once they like it, they love it to death. Just like this, no matter what anyone says or what comments are written, this movie is indeed not ours, it belongs to the audience.”
“Peddy” box office update
“Peddy” continues to play steadily three weeks after its release in theaters.Sacnilk’s latest estimates suggest that the film’s net collection on its 21st day in India was around Rs 70 lakh, slightly down from Rs 80 lakh the previous day. The global box office collection is now close to the milestone of Rs 333 crore.
