This success feels very different and I want to thank the audience for such a wonderful response.”

Ram Charan also spoke about how audience support shaped the film’s success. He said: “I remember a dialogue in a Rabindranath Tagore movie. It is not easy for Telugu people to like someone, but once they like it, they love it to death. Just like this, no matter what anyone says or what comments are written, this movie is indeed not ours, it belongs to the audience.”

“Peddy” box office update

“Peddy” continues to play steadily three weeks after its release in theaters.Sacnilk’s latest estimates suggest that the film’s net collection on its 21st day in India was around Rs 70 lakh, slightly down from Rs 80 lakh the previous day. The global box office collection is now close to the milestone of Rs 333 crore.
