A Patna court on Tuesday extended the stay for the arrest of educationist Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, in connection with the coaching institute dismissal case till the next hearing on July 3.Khan was named in an FIR related to a firing incident involving his security guards after miscreants allegedly vandalized his coaching institute in early June. The court granted him protection from arrest on June 9, which was later extended until June 30. The relief was extended until July 3.The court will also hear the bail pleas of Khan’s two security guards, who are currently in judicial custody, on July 3.“During Tuesday’s hearing, the court sought details of the arms licenses of Khan’s two security guards,” said Satyam Jha, lawyer for Khan’s rival Roshan Anand.“The matter has been listed for arguments on July 3, and the ‘no coercive action’ order against Khan will remain in effect until then,” he added.Roshan Anand is one of the accused in the case related to the alleged vandalism and stone-pelting outside Khan’s coaching institute on June 2. He is currently out on bail.
