The death of legendary filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj has left the Tamil film industry in shock. As friends, relatives and actors from the film industry paid their respects, the actress Suhasini A touching message about the veteran’s final moments was revealed. Speaking to the media after paying her respects, she recalled meeting Bhagyaraj a few days before his death and said nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Suhasini revealed that just two days before Bhagyaraj’s death, he and his family attended Khushbu’s daughter’s wedding in Goa. “Mr Bhagyaraj left for Chennai that evening. We only came back last night and none of us expected anything like this to happen,” she said. Recalling his last morning, she added, “He even went for his regular morning walk. After returning home, he complained of chest pain and his family immediately rushed him to Apollo Hospital.” She recalled him even more emotionally, saying: “To the end, he was a person who made everyone smile. He is no longer with us and I wish his soul rest in peace. “

Bhagyaraj’s journey in films will always remain one of the biggest success stories of the film industry. Bhagyaraj was born on January 7, 1953 in Vilangovil, Coimbatore. He started his career as an assistant director for G. Ramakrishnan and later worked under Bharathiraja. Later, he acted in films like “Kizhakke Pogum Rail” and “Sigappu Rojakkal”, but became famous for his starring role in “Puthiya Vaarpugal” in 1979.
