The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala has announced the CCMT 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result. Candidates who have participated in the counseling process can now check and download their allotment status by visiting the official website, ccmt.admissions.nic.in.To access the result, candidates need to login using their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration ID and password.Candidates who have been awarded places in the Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Planning (MPlan) programs must complete the chair acceptance process by paying the required fee before June 30, 2026, from 5:30 pm.The CCMT is a centralized counseling process conducted for admission to postgraduate engineering, architecture and planning programs offered by National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).This year, 76 institutes are participating in the CCMT counseling process 2026. The seat allotment has been prepared based on the GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026 scores of the candidates.
How to download the CCMT 2026 Round 3 allotment result
Candidates can follow these steps to check their award status:
- Visit the official website at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the “See Round 3 Seat Allotment Result for
CCMT 2026 “Link available on home page. - Enter your GATE registration ID and password.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- Your Round 3 seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the allotment letter for future use.

And after the allocation of seats in Round 3?
Candidates who have received a seat allotment must pay the seat acceptance fee by June 30, 2026, up to 5:30 pm.After completing the fee payment, applicants are required to get their documents verified by July 1, 2026.Those who do not wish to continue with the awarded institute can choose to withdraw from the counseling process between July 2 and July 6, 2026.
Special shift schedule
CCMT authorities will publish the list of vacancies on the official portal on 13th July 2026.The registration process for the CCMT 2026 Special Round will start from July 14, 2026, giving eligible candidates another opportunity to secure admission in participating institutes.Candidates are advised to complete all admission related formalities within the prescribed time limits and regularly visit CCMT official website for latest counseling updates.
