The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the round 1 counseling process for JEECUP 2026 from June 25, 2026. Eligible candidates can now participate in the counseling process and complete their preferred college and course choices through the official website, jeeniccup.admissions.The counseling process is conducted for admission to engineering and various degree programs offered by the participating institutions in Uttar Pradesh. The counseling schedule for pharmacy courses will be announced separately.Applicants are advised to complete their filling choice and lock process before the last date, June 30, 2026.

According to the official schedule, the result of the first round seat allotment will be declared on July 1, 2026. Candidates for the allotted seats should complete the required admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment, within the prescribed schedule.

Who is eligible for JEECUP counseling 2026?
The following candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling process:
- Residents of Uttar Pradesh who have appeared for the UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 examination.
- Candidates from other states who have passed their qualifying examination from an institution located in Uttar Pradesh.
- Children of Central Government employees serving in Uttar Pradesh.
Seat allocation and document verification
The result of the round 1 allotment will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who get a seat can choose the “Freeze” option to confirm the allotted seat or the “Float” option to be considered for better selection in subsequent rounds.Selected candidates will have to complete the document verification at the designated district help centers between July 2 and July 5, 2026. Candidates who do not want to continue with their allotted post can apply for withdrawal on July 6, 2026.
