Personnel Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration process for the 2026 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination today, June 25, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed their application process can submit their forms through the official website of SSC before the deadline.The Commission had reopened the application window after receiving requests from candidates who were unable to complete their registrations within the original deadline. This extension provides one last opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for one of the largest recruitment exams in the country.According to SSC, more than 28 lakh candidates have already successfully submitted their applications for SSC CGL 2026.The reopened application process began on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. and will remain active until June 25, 2026, at 11:00 p.m.Candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment and should complete the registration process as soon as possible to avoid technical problems caused by heavy traffic on the website.The SSC CGL 2026 recruitment search has been conducted for more than 12,000 vacancies in various ministries, departments and offices of the Central Government.
Fee payment term
Applicants who complete their applications within the extended registration period may pay the application fee online until June 26, 2026, at 11:00 PM.Applicants must ensure that the procedures for submitting the application and paying the fees are successfully completed for their application to be considered valid.

SSC has also revised the application correction schedule after the registration deadline extension.The application correction facility will be available from July 1 to July 3, 2026, up to 11:00 PM. During this period, applicants may make permissible corrections in their submitted application forms.
Revised Eligibility Date
The Commission has clarified that June 25, 2026, the revised closing date for applications, will now be treated as the crucial date for determining eligibility conditions where applicable under the SSC CGL 2026 notification.
No change in other conditions
Apart from the revised registration, fee payment and correction window dates, all other terms and conditions mentioned in the original SSC CGL 2026 notification issued on May 21, 2026, remain unchanged.Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to complete their registration before the application window closes today.
