NEW DELHI: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct the first offline counseling for admission to its Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program on July 7 at the university’s Dwarka campus. The counseling process is aimed at candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam conducted for the program.The allocation of seats will also be done on the same day after the verification of the required documents. The university stated that the admissions will be finalized on the basis of the merit of the candidates after the completion of the document verification process.Documents required for counselingCandidates attending the counseling session must bring a bank draft of Rs. 96,000 drawn in favor of the Registrar of the University. They are also required to carry four passport size photographs, CET admit card, degree card, online application form, date of birth certificate and other prescribed documents for verification.Only the candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance exam for the BMS program will be eligible to participate in the offline counseling. Document verification will be completed before the seats are allotted as per the merit list.Post cancellation and program detailsThe university announced that candidates awarded a place under program code 142 have the option to cancel their admission until July 14 after the counseling process.The Bachelor of Management Studies program is offered at the Indian Institute of Packaging affiliated to the university. A total of 60 seats are available under the program for the current admission process.Official sites for admission updatesGuru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has advised candidates seeking participation in the counseling process to refer to their official admission portals for detailed information related to eligibility, counseling processes and admission requirements.Candidates can access updates, notifications and other admission related details through the college website and online admission portal before attending the counseling session. Applicants are expected to ensure that all required documents are complete and available at the time of verification to avoid any delays during the admission process.The university has scheduled counseling at its Dwarka campus, where document verification and merit-based seat allotment will be conducted on the same day for eligible candidates applying for the Bachelor of Management Studies program offered at the Indian Institute of Packaging affiliated to the university.
