AP Inter admissions 2026: BIEAP extends Phase II deadline until July 31, reaffirms 33% quota for girls
The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, has extended the Phase II admission deadline for first year Intermediate courses to July 31, 2026. Eligible students are advised to complete admissions in their preferred junior colleges before the revised deadline, while institutions must adhere to the board’s reservation and admission norms.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has extended the Phase II admission schedule for first year intermediate courses for the academic session 2026-27 till July 31, 2026, giving eligible students more time to secure admission to junior colleges across the state.The extension comes as a relief to students who are yet to complete the admission process. The board has requested all eligible candidates to complete their admission before the revised deadline by visiting their preferred junior colleges and submitting the necessary documents.

Revised admission deadline announced

With the latest extension, students who have to enroll in the intermediate courses of the first year can complete the admission formalities until July 31, 2026. It will help the most eligible students to join junior colleges for the new academic session.BIEAP has also directed the junior colleges to complete admissions strictly in line with the guidelines issued by the board and follow the prescribed reservation policy while filling the available seats.

One third of the places reserved for female students

Reiterating its admission policy, the board said that 33 percent of the total seats will remain reserved for female students during the admission process.The reservation was introduced to improve the participation of girls in intermediate education and expand their access to higher secondary education in Andhra Pradesh. Colleges have been directed to implement the reservation policy while admitting students during the extended admission window.

Students are advised to complete admissions before July 31

Candidates who have not yet secured admission have been advised to approach their preferred junior colleges without delay and complete all the admission formalities before the revised closing date.Students must ensure that all required documents are submitted within the stipulated schedule to avoid losing admission opportunities.
