July 2026 is going to be a busy month for the Indian auto industry, where several new cars will be launched and unveiled in several segments. Additionally, several manufacturers are set to launch special editions and refreshes of existing products as they gear up for the festive season in the coming months. In this article, let’s take a look at the upcoming cars and reveal in July 2026.Skoda Kodiaq RS:The Skoda Kodiaq RS is the first car in the range and is expected to be launched in the coming days. The compact SUV has attracted a lot of attention from enthusiasts across the country. And all the 50 units that were offered in India were sold out within six minutes of the launch. With all 50 units sold, it remains to be seen whether Skoda Auto India will supply additional units of the Kodiaq RS to the Indian market.

Skoda will launch the SUV as a completely built unit (CBU) and is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Skoda Kodiaq RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 265hp and 400Nm of torque. Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS offers 60hp and 80Nm of torque. Apparently, the engine is powered by the same unit that powers the Octavia RS and Golf GTI. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels.2026 Renault KwidThe next car in the list is the new 2026 Renault Kwid, which will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. Exterior changes may also include front and rear bumpers, as well as new alloy wheels. Renault did not reveal any changes to the cabin, although the hatchback is expected to get updated upholstery and other new features. The engine package is set to remain unchanged, with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continuing to produce 67bhp and 91Nm. Buyers are expected to have a choice of a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the dealer-equipped CNG model may still be offered.Nissan: Tecton: Next up is the Nissan Tekton, which will make its global debut on July 9, 2026. At the front, the new Nissan Tekton SUV features a large grille with a red horizontal line across the top and a bright Nissan logo in the middle. The SUV also features signature LED DRLs paired with the head units, which include L-shaped headlamps. Other exterior highlights include a sculpted bonnet with distinctive lines, a central scoop and a Tekton badge.

At the rear, the SUV will feature a roof-mounted spoiler, raked windshield, C-shaped taillights and a large bumper. In terms of dimensions, the SUV is expected to be similar to the new Renault Duster, which is 4,345 mm long, 1,815 mm wide, 1,703 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm.The Tekton is expected to share engine options with the new Duster. 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 100 PS power and 160 nm torque combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Another engine is a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine with 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed DCT or 6-speed manual. There is also a large 1.8-liter hybrid gasoline engine with 109 hp, combined with a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp hybrid starter generator (HSG), combined with a 1.4kWh (280V) battery. Together, this configuration delivers a combined output of 160hp and 172Nm. We still don’t know what engine will be offered with the new Tekton. Maruti: Suzuki Brezza to raise the face Next up is Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, which is expected to be launched sometime this month. Design wise, the overall silhouette of the car will be unchanged; this upcoming model may show some noticeable changes in its design and equipment. In the latest spy shots, the rear part of the SUV has been captured. The facelifted model will have a redesigned front bumper and a refreshed grille. Similar decorations are also expected at the back. Interestingly, despite the increasing number of integrated headlights on new SUVs, the updated Brezza, according to the latest image, is not expected to adopt its design. Other exterior features may include 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, roof rails and a rear spoiler.On the mechanical side, the 2026 Brezza is expected to get minor tweaks to the suspension, and the latest model has been spotted with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which means that Maruti Suzuki may introduce additional equipment compared to the current setup. This change should make the gears smoother on the highway. While there are speculations about the possibility of a 1.0-litre three-cylinder Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx to the Brezza, there has been no official confirmation.Honda ZR-V Next up is the Honda ZR-V. Pre-booking for the Honda ZR-V is underway. Interested customers can book the SUV online or visit their nearest location. A pricing announcement is expected sometime this month. The SUV will be sold in India through the CBU channel. This will push its prices higher due to import duties and other costs. The SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will compete with Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Nissan X-Trail and others.Speaking of the powertrain, the ZR-V will be supplied with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine combined with a dual electric motor. The powerful hybrid engine produces 184 hp and 315 Nm. It comes mated to an e-CVT automatic gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels. Honda says the ZR-V can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8 seconds. It has a top speed of 172km/h and has a fuel efficiency of 22.79kpl. In international markets, the ZR-V gets all-wheel drive (AWD) and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine.Design-wise, the ZR-V features a compact design with clean surfaces. At the front, it has a large grille and large LED headlights, perfectly integrated with the fascia to give it a restrained yet stylish look. Historically, the SUV looks lower than conventional models, with a sloping roofline and longer wheelbase, making it closer to a raised hatchback than a tall SUV.The new MG SUVNext up is the new SUV from JSW MG Motor India. It is expected that the company will introduce the Wuling Starlight 560. The patent for this model was issued in India in March. The SUV is 4,745mm in length, has three rows of seats for seven people, and has LED headlights, LED tail lights and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it has a two-tone cabin, 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, six-speaker audio system, 50W wireless phone charger and panoramic sunroof.Globally, the Starlight 560 is sold with both plug-in hybrid and all-electric models. The PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a front electric motor and a 20.5kWh battery, producing 195hp and 230Nm, which is claimed to have a range of over 1,000km. The EV version uses a 69.2kWh battery and a 201hp front motor, offering a claimed CLTC range of 530km. It is not yet known which model will be offered in India.
