But 99.9 percent of the time, she returns the gift and buys something else,” he shared.Shah Rukh recalled a memorable incident, which he said happened while he was undergoing treatment in London after suffering a spinal injury.“I injured my spine and had to stay in London for one-and-a-half to two months. I bought some T-shirts from a shop but they didn’t fit me. Since I was hospitalized, I asked Gauri to return the T-shirts and bought a cotton one,” he recalled.However, when Gowrie returned, she told him that the store refused to take the T-shirts back.

The truth came out when some of Shah Rukh’s friends visited him in the hospital and mentioned that they had seen Gauri exchanging T-shirts in a shop.Instead of buying her husband new clothes, she bought herself a handbag.Shah Rukh smiled as he recalled Gauri’s defense, “Why does he need to wear new clothes when he is in the hospital?”The light-hearted story divided both Farrah Khan and viewers, giving fans another glimpse into the couple’s playful relationship.
