He said in interviews that it was one of the best shows he had ever seen and that he would love to do something similar.He added, “I’d be there at 1 a.m….clicking. It’s a bedtime story! I love the advent of Netflix and what it means to people like me. It’s perfect for me. I would personally love to make a ten hour mini-series myself. [David] Fincher is having the best show on the air right now. “Praising the show’s creator, he quipped, “Fincher is kind of like me, very anal, obsessive, but he’s so good, which proves that audiences want good. They don’t want crap; they want good.”

In the same interview, the director added that he is fascinated by OTT platforms. He commented: “It’s like a catapult because they just want content, and a lot of it. Do they really care that much about quality? Not so much, they should focus on that. But they’ve got $8 billion to spend next year on content. I’ll watch a movie every night, so it’s perfect.”
