OTT posts buzz about ‘Peddi’
Reports suggest that “Peddie” is likely to be released on Netflix shortly after its theatrical release. According to Filmnagar reports, the tentative OTT premiere date is July 2. The film is expected to release in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. However, some reports indicate that the revised date may be July 16. Still waiting for official confirmation from Netflix or the makers.
The makers of “Peddi” plan a grand and successful event
After the overwhelming response at the box office, the makers are gearing up for a celebration event in Hyderabad. The event is expected to be held on June 23 at 6 pm at Shilpa Kala Vedika.Meanwhile, “Peddy” continues its third week, with weekday releases predictably slowing down. Sacnilk reported that the film earned a net revenue of Rs 8.3 million on its 19th day of release in India. This marks a sharp decline compared to Sunday’s collection of Rs 282 crore, which showed a 70.6% decline in daily revenue.The film played in 1,734 screenings on Monday. The overall attendance rate of “Peddie” on Day 19 reached 18.27%. After 19 days of release, the film’s net box office total in India has reached 235.1 billion rupees.This sports action drama is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor Lead vocals, music composed by AR Rahman. On the other hand, “Peddi” also faces competition from Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Maa Into Bangaram”.
