Ram Charan’s “Peddi” continues to perform steadily despite facing new competition from Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Maa Inti Bangaaram”. More than three weeks after its release in theaters, the sports drama continues to captivate audiences and increase its overall ratings. According to Sacnilk, the film’s net revenue on its 23rd day of release in India was Rs 93 lakh. The latest figure represents an increase of 20.8% from the Rs 77 lakh recorded on Day 22.
Indian collection closes to Rs 240 crore
Day 23 revenue came from 1,399 performances nationwide. With the latest addition, Peddi now nets Rs 238.3 crore in India.Its total revenue in India also reached 281.85 billion rupees. The film has crossed the Rs 193.55 million mark at the box office in its first week. Another Rs 344.5 crore was added in the second week and Rs 937 crore was added in the third week.
Global box office total climbs to Rs 33,475 crore
Overseas markets also made a steady contribution to the film’s overall performance. “Peddi” currently has an international box office collection of Rs 52.9 crore. The film’s global box office collection has climbed to Rs 33,475 crore.On Day 23, the overall occupancy rate of the Telugu version was 22.83%. The attendance rate for the morning game was 17.70%, the attendance rate for the afternoon game was 27.10%, the attendance rate for the evening game was 18.90%, and the attendance rate for the night game was 23.60%.The total amount collected across states on day 23 was Rs 10.50 million. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the largest donors with contributions of Rs 1 crore. Karnataka added Rs 3 lakh while the rest of India contributed Rs 2 lakh.
‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ performs strongly on second Friday
While “Peddi” continues to be a hit, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Maa Inti Bangaaram” performed well at the box office on its second Friday.According to Saknielke, the film earned a net revenue of Rs 465 crore on the 8th day of its release in India. This represents a growth of 75.5% compared to Rs 265 crore on Day 7.The strong growth took the film’s total net revenue in India to Rs 405 million. Eight days after its release, the film has grossed Rs 46.83 crore at the Indian box office.‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ also continues to cash in from the international market. The overseas box office of the film increased to 3.5 million rupees on the 8th day of its release.Its total overseas revenue has now reached Rs 18.3 million.
