“Main Vaapas Aaunga” opened to great acclaim but had limited traction in the first week of ticket window and is expected to collect Rs 12.25 crore in seven days. In week 2, the tide took a dramatic turn as audiences flocked to theaters following word-of-mouth and the film earned a whopping Rs 22.5 crore at the box office.

It looks like that momentum has carried over into week three as well. As per a Sacnilk report, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ earned Rs 425 crore from 1,803 shows on Day 16, an impressive 54.5 per cent growth over the previous day’s collection. Total net income in India currently stands at Rs 41.80 crore while total income in India has reached Rs 4983 crore.

In its third week of release, “Main Vaapas Aaunga” faces a crowded box office, competing with Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna starrer “Cocktail 2” and the newly released Akshay Kumar starrer “Welcome to the Jungle”. The “Homi Adjania” directorial’s film collected Rs 425 crore at the box office on Saturday, while “Welcome 3” collected Rs 20 crore at the domestic box office on the same day.
