The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance exam city notification slip for the ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF / SRF (Ph.D.) entrance exam 2026. Candidates can download it from the official ICAR exam portal by logging in with their application number and password. The entrance examinations will be conducted on July 4, 2026, in computer based test (CBT) mode for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programs in agricultural and allied sciences for the academic session 2026-27. NTA has clarified that the city intimation slip is only meant to inform the candidates about the city where their exam center has been allotted. It is not the admission card. The admit card will be issued separately at a later date.
How to Download ICAR Exam City Slip 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to download the city intimation slip:
- Visit Officer IThe CAR exam site.
- Click on the link “Advance City Intimation for ICAR PG” or “Advance City Intimation for ICAR PhD” on the home page.
- Enter the application number and password.
- Send the details.
- The city’s intimation slip will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
Write details for PwD candidates
Along with the release of the city slip, NTA has also opened the online portal for PwD/PwBD candidates who are eligible to use a scribe during the examination. Eligible candidates can submit their writing details from June 25 to June 27, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. After logging on to the official ICAR exam website, candidates need to click on the “Register Scribe Details” option on the dashboard, choose the appropriate scribe option and submit the required information. Once submitted, the details will be reflected in the “View Application Form” section and on the confirmation page.
