U Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has declared the final result for the Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech) Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment process can now check the list of selected candidates on the official website.The final result was announced on June 29, 2026 and includes the roll numbers of candidates who have been selected for appointment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II / Tech.
How was the final result prepared?
According to the official notification, the final selection was made on the combined performance of the candidates at all stages of the recruitment process.The selection process includes:
- Level I online computer-based test, held on October 15, 2025
- Tier II and Tier III exams, conducted between April 15 and May 5, 2026
The list contains only the roll numbers of the selected candidates. The Intelligence Office has clarified that the roll numbers are arranged in ascending order and not according to merit.

Direct link here Important instructions for candidatesThe Intelligence Bureau has stated that the candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories whose roll numbers appear under the Unreserved (UR) category have qualified on unreserved standards.Roll numbers marked with “P” indicate that the application is provisional because the required documents or information were not submitted during the document verification or interview.The Office also clarified that the inclusion in the final result does not automatically guarantee the appointment. The final selection is subject to the successful completion of the character and antecedent verification, medical examination, and compliance with all other eligibility conditions, including age, educational qualification and category requirements. It also reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions in the result, if necessary, at a later stage.
