However, in a recent spate of incidents, the star has appeared at public events alongside other celebrities, including Benedict Cumberbatch and Prince William.

Emma Watson attended the Royal Foundation’s Joint Wildlife Business Forum, People reported. The event took place on Monday and was attended by a diverse group of people. At the forum, Watson was one of many people invited to take the stage to talk about current issues.United for Wildlife also shared photos from the night on its Instagram page, including one of Watson with the “Rose” cast and Prince William. The post was titled, The event is for “a conversation about the natural world and our shared responsibility to protect it.”Watson was invited to the stage to deliver a speech. “Storytelling is really powerful and as a brand, the stories you tell, the transparency you have and the way you talk about these issues, it’s important. It’s important for young people,” she said. Videos of her speech, along with those of Prince William and Benedict Cumberbatch, were also shared on the same account. The actress also posted about the incidents on her account. Sharing photos from the event, she wrote: “Wildlife trafficking is the tip of the extremely exploitative iceberg. It can be the canary in the coal mine for an industry that causes huge harm to people and the planet (but therefore has the opportunity to make a huge impact)!”

The actress also recalled a hilarious incident during the speech when she thought many people with cameras were waiting for her near her residence. “I thought, ‘Today is the day. This is happening, oh my God,'” she said. So, [someone] I walked outside to talk to them and their long lenses, and then I snuck out and took another route, only to find that the men with the long lenses weren’t actually there at all. They were for a very rare bird called the red kite. Basically, they tried to break into my back garden because they thought one of the red kites was in our backyard. “Watson has been dedicated to philanthropy over the years, using her voice to provide a stage for those in need.
