In one of his recent live broadcasts, the actor-singer opened up about all the struggles the team went through to ensure that ‘Satluj’ sees the light of day. Speaking to fans about the film on a livestream after the day of its release, Dosanjh revealed that he was not allowed to talk about the film until it was released.When a fan asked why it was not released on other platforms, he replied in Punjabi: “I wasn’t even allowed to talk to anyone about the film until yesterday. The film was released directly on the platform without any promotion. Will this happen? The entire team worked hard on this film. “He also stated that there was a lot he wanted to talk about; however, he couldn’t, although he still asked fans to continue supporting them, saying he saw all the videos, edits and posts viewers posted online about the film.

Nearly 4 years later, Diljit Dosanjh’s “Satluj” (originally titled “Punjab 95”) released on the popular OTT platform. However, two days later, it was completely removed from the platform “until further notice.”

The courts have already decided on the matter and this movie is talking about the same thing instead of trying to show something new.”However, he still thanked everyone for watching the film in a positive manner and shared that he saw everyone’s efforts to spread the film everywhere. He added: “The only thing that reassures me is that you all have the movie now, and the movie can’t stop now.” Earlier, the actor had already stated during the live broadcast that news might come out that the movie would be removed from the platform, however, he said he was happy to see people watching the movie and sharing it wherever possible.After the video was removed, illegal download links started circulating online, with fans sharing links to illegally download Satluj.
