The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Computer Based Test (CBT), aptitude or writing test, document verification and detailed medical examination. The CBT consists of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks with a duration of two hours. The subjects include General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General English or General Hindi. The minimum qualifying marks are 50 per cent for General, EWS, OBC and Ex-Servicemen categories, and 45 per cent for SC and ST categories.Age limit and qualification As per the official notification, the age limit for the post of Head Constable (ministerial) is 18 years minimum and 25 years maximum, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules. The recruitment drive covers 115 vacancies and requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with English typing speed of 35 words per minute or Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute on computer. Selection is based on multiple stages including PET, PST, CBT, skill test, document verification and detailed medical examination, with a final merit list prepared on the basis of CBT marks submitted to qualify all stages.
