The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Company Commander posts in the Bihar Home Guard. A total of 65 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website of BPSSC. The online application process will begin on June 30, 2026, and will remain open until July 30, 2026.
The recruitment aims to fill 65 Company Commander (Level-6) posts in the Bihar Home Guard. The distribution of vacancies by category is as follows:

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Male, female and third gender candidates are eligible to apply.
- Educational qualification and age will be calculated as on 1st August 2025.
Age limit
- General (male): 20 to 37 years
- General (female): 20 to 40 years
- Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 20 to 40 years
- 20 to 42 years

Application fee
