The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 admit card will be released tomorrow, June 30, by the Uttar Pradesh Educational Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets by visiting the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.The UPTET 2026 exam will be conducted on July 2, 3 and 4 at exam centers in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, the commission had released the exam city intimation slips to help candidates plan their travel in advance.
UPTET 2026 exam details
The exam will be held in multiple rounds over three days.
- Card I is for candidates who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 5.
- Paper II is for candidates who want to teach Classes 6 to 8.
- Candidates who want to teach both primary and higher classes must appear for both the papers.
UPTET is the qualifying examination for the recruitment of teachers in government-aided and government-aided primary and upper primary schools in Uttar Pradesh. However, passing the exam does not guarantee a teaching job. It is one of the mandatory eligibility requirements to participate in the upcoming teacher recruitment conducted by the state government.The UPTET qualification certificate is valid for life.
