House of the Dragon Season 3: Demon and Rhaenyra scene goes viral, fans spot Daenerys Targaryen reference - WATCH

Since she was last seen in "game of Thrones”, the Mother of Dragons, aka Daenerys Targaryen, is entering the lore of “House of the Dragon.” A newly released clip from the latest episode of Season 3 has gone viral, and fans are abuzz over the references to the iconic character, who was originally created by emilia clarke. The clip shows an emotional conversation between Daemon Targaryen and Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is mourning the death of her son Jakaris “Jace” Velaryon. Lying in bed, she told Daemon that she was “tired,” and the two began talking in High Valyrian.During the conversation, Daemon recounted the prophetic visions he experienced at Harrenhal, describing images that fans believe point directly to Daenerys Targaryen. “I saw in Harrenhal, Rhaenyra. The Darkness of the North. The Children of Ice and Fire. I saw in the far desert a silver-haired girl with a dragon on her breast. But if this is true, what my brother told you…if this is true, then what will you do?” Daemon said at the scene. The clip had fans taking to social media to say: “Oh they’re 100% going to give Rhaenyra a vision of Daenerys’ future. This is actually a trailer for Daemon.” Another said: “The devil is talking about Daenerys!!!”Another said, “He was actually manipulating her because of the visions he believed foreshadowed their victory. He didn’t even see the ending and how the Targaryens were exterminated and disgraced.”The reference also draws on a major moment from season two. In 2024, House of the Dragon features visions Daemon saw in the weirwood trees of Harrenhal, including Daenerys, White Walkers, dead dragons, and other prophetic images tied to future events in Game of Thrones. The scene became one of the show’s most talked about moments, and ultimately influenced Daemon’s decision to support Rhaenyra in her bid for the Iron Throne. The latest episode appears to expand on that prophecy, further connecting House of the Dragon to events unfolding across generations in Game of Thrones.
