U University of Delhi (DU) has opened the second round of allotment of seats under the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate programs (CSAS-PG). The second round of counseling started on June 22 and will end on June 24, 2026. According to the university, 2,964 new seat allocations were made in the second round. Candidates who have been allocated places must complete the admission formalities within the prescribed schedule to secure their place in the program.The university asked the candidates awarded places in the second round to act promptly. Students must accept the allotted seats by June 24, 2026. Students will be required to pay the fees after accepting the allotted seats by June 27, 2026.Failure to complete any of the above procedures within the allotted time will lead to the cancellation of the post awarded by the university.The second round of allotment has been uploaded on the university’s postgraduate admission portal. Apart from the allotment information, the university has uploaded the minimum score requirement for various postgraduate courses.The information about the minimum score of the program helps the candidates to know their chances in the subsequent rounds of admission.A total of 3,399 candidates among those who were allotted seats in the first round have frozen their seats. A total of 2,448 candidates have updated their posts.Meanwhile, 2,303 students did not choose the freeze option nor apply for an upgrade, leaving uncertainty regarding their final admission decisions.
