Tata Motors it seems to be planning a facelift for the Tigor compact sedan, soon after launching the facelifted Tiago. Patent images of the portable version have surfaced online through a government file, revealing some major externalities. The refreshed Tigor is expected to follow the likes of the recently launched Tiago hatchback and is likely to arrive in the coming months.

The patent images show a redesigned front end with a slimmer fascia and sleeker LED headlights. Tata also redesigned the front bumper, which now includes a redesigned grille and redesigned fog lamp housings. A new design of alloy wheels also appears. You can also expect a redesigned rear bumper, updated LED tail lamps and a revised paint job.On the inside, the Tigor is expected to receive a cabin similar to the new Tiago, with a larger infotainment system, standard digital instrument cluster and Tata’s new steering wheel design.Expected extras include a 360-degree camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, Type-C ports, automatic folding ORVMs and rear-entry ACs. AMT-equipped variants may receive a revised option.Under the hood, the Tigor facelift is expected to retain the existing features. The sedan will continue with the familiar 1.2-litre engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or AMT. Tata is also expected to continue offering the CNG version with the factory.With the Tiago facelift already on sale, the facelifted Tigor is expected to be the next model in Tata’s small car lineup to get a complete facelift. Once launched, it will continue to compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura in the sub-4 meter sedan segment.
