JoSAA Council 2026 Round 3 assignment result: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the result of allotment of 3 seats for JoSAA Counseling 2026 at 5 pm today, 6 July 2026. Candidates who have registered for the counseling process can check their allotment status by logging into the official portal at josaa.nic.in. Individual seat allotment letters will also be available for download after the results are declared.Candidates awarded seats in this round should complete the online reporting process within the prescribed schedule. This includes uploading the required documents, paying the seat acceptance fee and answering any verification questions. The reporting window remains open from July 6 to July 8, while the payment of fees must be completed by July 8. Candidates facing fee payment issues or document related queries can respond till July 9.Online reporting plan after round 3 assignmentThe facility of withdrawal and exit from the seat allotment process will be available from 7th July to 8th July. Candidates who respond to questions related to the withdrawal can do so until July 9. Admissions will proceed only after the uploaded documents are verified online and the admission formalities are completed.After allotment, candidates must select one of the three available options. Float option allows candidates to accept the allotted post while remaining eligible for higher preference in subsequent rounds. The Freeze option confirms acceptance of the assigned position without further participation in the board. The Slide option allows candidates to retain the allotted institute while seeking a preferred course in the same institution in subsequent rounds.Documents required for verificationAlloted candidates must upload required documents including JEE Main 2026 admit card, JEE Advanced 2026 admit card where applicable, rank card, Class 10 certificate, Class 12 mark sheet, category certificate, passport size photographs and seat allotment letter. Admission will continue after successful online verification, followed by a final report and payment of the fee to the awarded institute.Six rounds of counseling for admissionJoSAA Counseling 2026 is conducted in six rounds for admission to participating institutes. These include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and other IIT campuses.To access round 3 allotment result, candidates must visit the official website, open round 3 allotment link, login with their application number and password, view the result and download the allotment letter for future reference.
