U University of Delhi (has) has started the registration process for one-year postgraduate (PG) courses for the academic session 2026. The university has also opened applications for Master of Science (MSc) programs for candidates who have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026.Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official DU PG admission portal till 11th July 2026.Students who have qualified GAT-B 2026 can apply for the two-year MSc in Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology for the academic session 2026-29.
Who can ask?
The one-year postgraduate program is available only to students who have completed a four-year degree (UG) from Delhi University under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022, which is based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.To complete the application process, applicants must enter their University of Delhi (UoD) registration number and date of birth.According to the university, admission to one-year PG courses will be based on the merit marks obtained in the four-year bachelor’s degree, subject to the course-specific eligibility conditions mentioned in the admission bulletin.
DU PG admission of two years
Delhi University has received 9,500 applications for its two-year postgraduate programs so far.The medium entry facility for these courses remains open until July 5, 2026.The university will publish the Round 3 seat allocation list on July 9, 2026. The seat allocation for performance-based courses, including Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd) and Music programs, will also be announced on the same day.
DU UG admission 2026
Delhi University has also shared the latest updates on undergraduate admissions.According to the university, it has received 1,48,407 applications for DU Undergraduate (UG) Admission 2026, while 62,524 candidates have completed the Phase 2 application process.The last date to fill the course and university preferences is July 11, 2026.The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026 first allocation list will be released on July 16 at 5 pm.This year, Delhi University is offering admission to 73 undergraduate courses and 150 Bachelor of Arts (BA) program combinations.Delhi University has also released the allotment list of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Admission 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats have to accept on July 8, 2026.The application process for the five-year integrated law program will close on July 7, 2026.The university has also informed the students through its official X account (formerly Twitter) that the Phase 2 program selection will begin after the declaration of Semester 8 results. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of DU for the latest admission schedule and other updates.
