The team responded to claims that the film faced issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).The production company released a statement on its X (formerly Twitter) account saying the reports are completely false. It clarified that the film has not even been submitted to the CBFC for certification.

The statement read: “Any suggestion that Maatrubhumi: Peace of War has encountered problems with the CBFC or that certification has been on hold is false. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore, such reports are baseless. “ The production house further added, “We request the media and individuals not to spread unverified information. Any official updates regarding the film will be shared only by Salman Khan Films through its official channels.”

Instead, there have been several reports in recent weeks claiming that the film was retouched and reshot. Some reports also suggest that the CBFC has suspended the film’s certification. However, the latest statement from Salman Khan Films refuted all these claims and made it clear that the certification process has not even begun.

The film was called “Battle of Galwan” before the title was changed. It was originally scheduled to be released in April this year, but was later postponed. After the delay, the film was suggested to be released during the Independence Day weekend in August. However, the manufacturer is yet to officially confirm the launch date.
