About John Farnham
In a Herald Sun report in May this year, Farnham confirmed he would never sing again after recovering from oral cancer. The artist revealed that he will no longer perform and is now focusing on his health. “This possibility can be ruled out because I have had operations on my mouth and face in the past few years, so I will no longer consider singing on stage.” The singer retired from the music industry in 2022 after being diagnosed with cancer and has been away from the public eye since then.In addition to this, a tribute concert is planned for the Australian singer in the coming months. Artists including Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Richard Marx, Jimmy Barnes and Keith Urban will perform at the event and pay tribute to the singer. The concert is titled “Songs of John Farnham: A Living Legend.” Concert funds will be donated to Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the organization that has helped Farnham beat cancer.
