Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has extended the last date to submit HPTU admission-cum-counseling form 2026 for admission to various undergraduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) programmes. Eligible candidates can complete the board registration through the official website, himtu.ac.in.The extended deadline applies to candidates who have qualified the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 and are seeking admission to various courses offered by the university.For BTech (direct entry), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharmacy) direct entry, Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BSc HMCT), Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), candidates can submit the counseling form from July 7, 2020.The same deadline of July 7, 2026, until 5 pm also applies to candidates seeking admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science (MSc) Physics, MSc Environmental Sciences, Master of Arts (MA), MSc in Yoga and Doctor of Pharmacy Programs (Pharm).Meanwhile, candidates applying for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), BTech (Lateral Entry), BPharmacy (Lateral Entry), Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Pharmacy (MPharmacy) can submit their counseling forms until July 25, 2026, up to 5 pm.
How to submit HPTU counseling form 2026
Candidates can follow these simple steps to complete the board registration:
- Visit the official website of HPTU at himtu.ac.in.
- Click on the Board Registration link available on the home page.
- Log in with your HIM login ID, mobile number or other login credentials, along with your password.
- Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the advisory fee using net banking, debit card or credit card.
- Review the details and submit the advice form.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
The HPCET 2026 exam was conducted in pen and paper mode on May 9 and 10, 2026, while the results were announced on May 21, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the board registration well before the deadline to avoid last minute technical issues.
