The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has officially confirmed the actor’s cause of death David ChaseKnown for voicing Lilo in Lilo and Stitch and starring in The Lord of the Rings. She died in Los Angeles on June 16 at the age of 35.

Chase, also known as David Schwalier, died of complications from AIDS, Variety reported, citing a coroner’s report. The report also listed “chronic polysubstance use” as a secondary cause of death.

He said the resulting septic complications eventually caused her body to shut down.
