SS Rajamouli’s team recently shared a video from the screening of ‘Eega’ in Paris. The video shows the audience applauding loudly after one of the film’s most memorable moments. Fans in the theater cheered as the iconic “I’ll Be Back” scene played on the big screen. This scene remains one of the most popular moments in the film, and French audiences responded with enthusiastic applause.
About “Yiga”
“Eega”, released in 2012, tells the story of a man who was killed out of jealousy and reincarnated to avenge a housefly. This famous scene occurs at the climax of the film, when Little Fly boldly challenges the villain, played by Sudeep. Throughout the movie, flies constantly harass and fight bad guys. In the final moments, The Fly writes “I’ll be back” before the explosive climax. The film stars Nani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kicha Sudeep.
SS Rajamouli receives special honor in Paris
During his visit to Paris, SS Rajamouli also received a major honor from the Cinémathèque Française, one of the most respected film institutions in the world. Sharing his joy on Rajamouli also thanked all those who made this honor possible. “My deepest gratitude goes to the legendary Mr. Costa Gavras and the entire Cinémathèque Française family for bestowing this honor on me and for embracing Indian cinema with such warmth and love,” he wrote.SS Rajamouli is next collaborating with Telugu superstar for his upcoming project ‘Varanasi’ Mahesh Babuglobal icon Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam’s Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is announced to be released on April 7, 2027.
