Kannada actor and film producer Sharmiela Mandre has entered a new phase in her life as she got engaged to producer Sudhan Sundaram. The couple’s engagement ceremony took place on June 25 at a private event in Bengaluru.

The ceremony was held with blessings and approval from both families. The couple exchanged rings in a traditional celebration surrounded by loved ones.

Talking about Sharmiela’s work, she made her debut in 2007 with ‘Saajni’. Since then, she has acted in nearly 35 films in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. Some of her popular movies include Krishna, Navagraha, Aake, Gaalipata 2, Powder and The Devil. Apart from acting, she also runs Sharmiela Mandre Productions and has produced several content-driven films.On the other hand, Sudhan Sundaram is the founder of Passion Studios and is known for producing many films. His film Parking won the National Award for Best Tamil Feature Film at the 71st National Film Awards.Shamiela and Sultan are expected to get married later this year. However, the couple is yet to announce their wedding date.
