However, the Duke of Sussex fears his two children Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie will not be able to meet King Charles III after a taxpayer-funded guarantee was rejected. According to The Guardian , the last-minute developments left the 41-year-old distraught as he feared his children would be “chased by paparazzi everywhere they go from the moment they step off the plane.”While the royal would like to explore other options, he believes this is not possible without appropriate arrangements. “Their plans to visit family, friends and visit various charities close to the Duke’s heart were canceled at the 11th hour,” the report said. “He is considering options to try to get the family here safely and keep them safe while they are on the ground. If he can find a way to do that, he will.” Prince Harry wants his children to see their grandparents, but he won’t sacrifice their safety.
