“Durandhar” and “Durandhar: Revenge” changed the perception of Hindi cinema. Senior film producer Sanjay Gupta Praising director Aditya Dhar for staying true to his vision while making “Dhurandhar”, he revealed that the filmmaker refused to take shortcuts despite facing obstacles over the years. Gupta shared his admiration on X (formerly Twitter), recounting a conversation with a crew member who witnessed Dahl’s relentless commitment throughout the making of the film.According to Sanjay, a member of the ‘Dhurandhar’ team spoke about how Aditya remained steadfast in every stage of the project, from pre-production to post-production. Sharing the anecdote, he wrote: “Yesterday I met a staff member from Durandal who sees Aditya Dal fighting for his vision every day. There are no shortcuts. It’s a battle of faith versus convenience. That’s the difference. Filmmaking is not about ‘shoot-shoot’. “Earlier, during an appearance on ‘InControversial Podcast’, Sanjay opened up about the hard work he put into realizing ‘Dhurandhar’. He revealed that Aditya spent nearly four years working on the ambitious project before it finally took off.“It’s clear that Aditya Dal was inspired by the filmmakers of the ’80s and ’90s. I can clearly see those influences and that world-building style. There’s no doubt that Aditya Dal is a very smart filmmaker. But having said that, he spent four years trying to put this project together. Whether your last film was successful or not, that’s what’s difficult,” he said.“Dhurandhar” directed by Aditya Dal and starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay DuttR. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi Play a key role. According to Sacnilk, the action film was a huge commercial success, raking in approximately Rs 1,306 crore at the global box office.
